  • BABY SHOWER

    Ladies, you are invited to a baby shower for Katie Mellett on Tuesday, September 7th at 7:00 P.M. in the Johnson Chapel.  Please cme and help us celebrate the upcoming arrival of Brandon and Katie's little girl.  Katie is registered at Wal-Mart and Target.

  • MASTER CLUB FAMILY PACKETS

    These are available for all families of children ages 4 thru 6th grades who are interested i our Thursday night children's program.  The Master Club program is a great way for your kids to learn God's Word and meets Thursday nights at 6:30 beginning on September 9th.  For more information, please contact the church office.

  • PRAY FOR AMERICA

    Those who would be burdened for our country and its drifting away from our Biblical World View are invited to meet on Wednesday evenings after the service.  Pastor Sherman and Pastor Johnson will be leading a "Pray For America" prayer meeting on a weekly basis during this critical time in our nation's history.

  • HELP NEEDED

    Mr. Mellett is looking for men in the church that would be interested to come into his Christian Manhood class to speak and to possibly demonstrate their occupation, a previous occupation, a hobby, or special skill that would be beneficial or interesting for the Christian Manhood boys.  Thank you to all those men who volunteered their time last year to speak to the young men.   • PRIME TIMERS

    Ladies Only - Tuesday, September 14th.  A visit to the History Center to hear Rae Katherine Eighmey talk about "Food Will Win the War."  This presentation features theatrical readings, evocative photographs and posters, tunes representative of the time and food conversation sample treats.  Cost of the program is free.  We will depart from FBC at 9:30 AM.  Mystery destination for lunch - cost approx. $10.

     I wish to thank Mrs. Nibbe and everyone else involved for putting together such a wonderful shower.  I also wish to thank everyone who was able to attend.  I enjoyed the time of fellowship, and it was a huge blessing to see everyone there.

  • ROPE HOLDERS 2010

    We want to invite you to be a part of the 2010 ROPEHOLDERS' giving to our four missionaries to make their stay with us a special one.  This year there will be two ways that we will do this.  First, the OTHERS OFFERING on Sunday night, September 5th will be dedicated entirely to the missionaries.  Second, you can taike a special envelope from the ushers (or at Welcome Center) and give a designated gift of $40 or more between now and October 3rd.  All of the funds given in these two ways will be used to provide a love offering for our four missionaries.  Please pray for our 2010 Missions Month and the missioionaries scheduled for visits:

    October 3rd - Brother Beni Lariu (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) speaking in Adult Sunday School

    October 10th - No Missionary Scheduled

    October 17th - Brother Wes Pella (Brazil) - speaking in Evening Service

    October 24th - Brother Alberto Puente (Spain) - speaking in Evening Service

    October 31st - Brother Ron Back (Australia) - speaking in Evening Service

  • LADIES EXTRAVAGANZA

    It's almost time for our annual Ladies' Extravaganza!  The theme this year is "Once Upon a Time," and our special speakers are Brother and Mrs. John and Donna Bishop from God is So Good Ministries.  The Bishops are well knwn and loved all over the country, and will bless us with a wealth of wisdom on what to do when life is not a fairy tale.  Register early and invite your friends and family for this very exceptional day!  The Extravaganza registration table will be open every Wednesday and Sunday night in the foyer from September 5th - 26th.  Advance tickets are $19.00 for adults, and $13.00 for teens aged 13-18.  Ticket prices will be higher at the door.  Reminder:  The Extravaganza program begins at 9:00A.M.  Doors will open at 8:15 A.M. for Continental Breakfast.  Please mark these times on your calendar!
