  • YOUNG MEN'S PRAYER GROUP

    Brother Grudzinski is interested in starting a prayer group with young men who want to pray for the pastor and the services each Sunday morning.  If you are interested, please meet by the Welcome Center Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM.

  • PRAY FOR AMERICA

    Those who would be burdened for our country and its drifting away from our Biblical World View are invited to meet on Wednesday evenings after the service.  Pastor Sherman and Pastor Johnson will be leading a "Pray For America" prayer meeting on a weekly basis during this critical time in our nation's history.

  • EASTER FLOWER GARDEN

    We will be doing the Easter Flower Garden again this year.  If you would like to purchase flowers in Memory Of or in Honor Of of someone special to you, you may sign up starting today (February 21) at the table in the foyer.  There are forms to fill out and return with the correct amount  to the table in the foyer by March 14th.  Your plant(s) may be taken home following the morning or evening service on Easter.

  • WEDDING RECEPTION

    The church family is invited to a wedding cake reception in celebration of Liz Reinhardt/Szwarga and Kevin Szwarga (wedding took place on February 20).  Reception is being held at Hope Baptist Church in Minneapolis on Saturday, March 13 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

  • PRIME TIMERS' ACTIVITY

    Tuesday, March 9 - Minnesota History Center Senior In Mind Series - "Minnesota Parks with Doug Ohman and Chris Niskanen."  Departing the church at 9:30 am.  Lunch following at the History Center. Please sign up with Carol Nibbe or Peggy Tellers by Sunday, March 7th.  (Cost is lunch only)

  • MASTER CLUB GRAND PRIX AND BAKING CONTEST

    Thursday, March 18th, will be the day for our annual Boys' and Girls' Grand Prix race and Girls' Baking Contest for our older clubbers.  The church family is invited to attend along with moms and dads and clubbers on that evening.  All festivities will begin at 6:30 pm in our gymnasium.  For more information, please contact Pasto Clear.

  • DRIVER'S EDUCATION

    First Baptist School is offering Driver's Education through the A+ Driving School with driving instructor Mr. Dan Flood.  Classes start Monday, March 8th and will continue through Friday, March 19.  The class time will be from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Cost is $365.00 (this includes behind the wheel driving time.)  Students must be 14 years of age by the first day of class.  *FBS students and home schoolers must wear their school uniform to class.  Any questions, please call 651.423.2272.

  • COLLEGE TRIP FUND RAISER

    Erik McKay has an excellent opportunity to take five young men to see West Coast Baptist College and Golden State Baptist College.  The future is important for these young men.  In order to go they need to raise funds to help with the costs of the trip.  If you have any work around your house, Erik has five young men that are available for hire.  Please contact Erik and he will work out a time!  Thanks for all your support, and if you have no work, they would appreciate your prayers.

  • GAME NIGHT YOUTH ACTIVITY:

    Life it not all funa nd games.  But on the afternoon of Saturday March 13th, fun and games is what it's all about.  At 3:00 pm every high schooler is invited to a Game Night starting in the Johnson Chapel (board games).  At 4:00 pm the competition continues as we move to the gymnasium.  Light refreshments will be served; unfortunately, the fun and games will end at 5:00 pm. Parents, you may pick up your teenager at this time.  There is no cost for the activity.

  • CHRISTIAN SINGLES' ACTIVITY

    On March 14th, after the evening service, the Christian Singles Sunday School class is invited to the Foster's house for a game night.  There is no cost for the activity, however, please bring either a 2-liter of pop or something to munch on.  Please see Troy or Sherry Fruetel if you have any questions, or need directions.
